Sony recalls 450,000 Vaio Laptops

Electronics giant Sony were left red in the face... because customers complained that after using the Vaio laptops they were left red in some places.
The Vaio notebooks from Sony run hotter than a Turkish Sauna because of faulty wiring, and Sony has recalled as many as 450,000 notebook in order to fix them.
The wiring connecting the main body with the screen was found to be faulty on several units, causing overheating near the power plug or screen rim. And much to the customers' loss of hair, it leads to distortions on the body. Basically it starts to melt.
The usual suspects include these Vaio models - VGN-TZ100, VGN-TZ200, VGN-TZ300, VGN-TZ2000. Also, a total of 19 Vaio TZ models manufactured between May 2007 and July 2008 are reportedly affected.
So if you accidentally mistake your Vaio for your frying pan, you might want to contact Sony.
Half a million laptops hu?
Sony can't make enough PS3's but they can make too many laptops. That aint Sony. Sony is a good brand, sometimes I wonder if these top notch companies don't make error on purpose.
Ebay is a good place to get a laptop, I got one from there in 2002 for only 160 dollars US, CHEAP at the time and still today six year later.
